Temporomandibular joint prosthesis

Temporomandibular joint prosthesis are primarily used for extremely pronounced arthrosis, severe ankylosis or tumors of the jawhead. A distinction is made here between a prefabricated prosthesis and a so-called patient-specific prosthesis, which is individually prepared on the basis of a CT data set.
