Injection in the TMJ / masticatory muscles
In cases of severe arthrosis, cortisone or hyaluronic acid can be injected into the joint. Botulinum toxin can also be used to relax the tense masticatory muscles. The effect of botulinum toxin begins after about 3 weeks. Chewing gum should be avoided so that the chewing musculature is not rebuilt.
We also offer injections of cortisone or PRP (platelet rich plasam) with own growing-factors.
